Bullion/Precious Metals

Although Rare Coins of New Hampshire does not maintain an in-house inventory of bullion products, we are able to acquire them for our clients as need dictates and at very competitive prices. Due to the volatile nature of these markets, we require good funds on hand in the form of a cleared check, certified funds or wire transfer, before we are able to “lock in” a price for you at any given time. Credit cards are not accepted for bullion transactions. Once we have good funds in our possession, we are able to purchase for you at your discretion, not ours.

We charge a very small service fee over our wholesale cost. We ship through the U.S. Postal Service and all packages are discreetly marked for purposes of confidentiality and fully insured for safety.

If you would like to discuss bullion ownership in more detail or to request information on ordering please call us at 800-225-7264 and speak with one of our numismatists who will be glad to answer any questions you may have.
Absolutely! Many of our clients utilize gold and silver bullion as a necessary component to their diversified hard asset portfolio. There are many reasons to own bullion; as a hedge against a soft economy, to profit from underlying moves in the price of the metal itself, or just because the coins are beautiful.

Bullion refers to gold, silver and platinum coins or bars whose value is directly tied to the price of the underlying metal they are composed of. If gold fluctuates by $5 on any given day for instance, one ounce gold bullion products will move accordingly. These items are not rare, nor particularly collectible and thus maintain very little premium over their intrinsic value.

News and Market Updates

We offer a couple of options when it comes to staying current with Rare Coins of New Hampshire and the rare coin/precious metals industry.

Our News page has many informative articles from the rare coin/precious metals industry, including our monthly newsletter, The Rare Coin Enthusiast. We send out our newsletter every month to our online subscribers. It features articles from our numismatists, covering numerous topics from the rare coin & precious metals industry. It covers national coin shows we may attend, questions from our clients, market trends, counterfeit warnings, along with coin stories from our past.

The newsletter will occasionally offer a coin special to our online subscribers only. To subscribe, you’ll want to fill out the short form that pops up in the corner or you can locate it on the side of the Contact Us Page of this website.

There many options to placing orders with Rare Coins of New Hampshire. You can order rare coins here at our online store, visit our Contact Us page and fill out the email form or call us at 1-800-225-7264, set up an appointment and visit our office.

Because we sell coins online, by phone and by email, there may be a delay between when a coin is ordered and taken off of our website. You may see a coin online that could have been sold an hour before. Therefore a phone call would be the most efficient way to insure you get the coins you want.
