Market Update
On April 1st, CAC shut down temporarily. Tentatively scheduled to reopen April 15th. It seems like they may not open until April 30th at the earliest, we’ll keep you posted.
As a dealer in gold, we are allowed to come to the office, but that could change at any time. Some people that are laid off or being let go, are thankful they have coins to fall back on. We are not allowed to have anyone come inside our office. But if you call and make an appointment, we can walk you through what needs to be done to get your collection appraised and/or sold.
With CAC and PCGS closed, coins are harder to find. Collectors are holding onto their money to maintain liquidity. Many industries will never be the same. In the big scheme of things, coins are really a backburner item, but we will do our best to be helpful. Feel free to call or email anytime.
In the interim to normalcy, be careful and stay safe. We may not see a peak in the virus for a few weeks. The grocery store next to our office now limits the amount of people inside and has to have a police presence. Unfortunately, times like this can bring out the best and worst in people. When things come back, remember to thank and appreciate every doctor and nurse, they are risking their lives to save ours. God bless them all!
